The Customer
Profile Search (CPS), also known as the Debtor Database, is
a tool that can help you identify if you are dealing with a
firm already known to be a debtor. There is no charge to you
if you would like to have Cohen & Pratt check a debtor
against our database and identify any repeated patterns of
nonpayment.
To ensure accuracy, Cohen & Pratt will use several paid
databases along with our own "Placed For Collection" list. This is of the
utmost importance. Inaccurate information can lead to poor
credit decisions and lost sales revenue.
The goal of the Cohen & Pratt CPS is to help you reduce the
number of delinquent accounts by supplying honest
information, pre-collection services, and advice on the
steps you should take before placing an account for
collection. It is not designed to replace any type of credit
reporting. CPS is an information tool to gain background
insight for collection purposes.
